Every day that I pick Avery Kate up from school I hug her and whisper in her ear, "Hi my baby! I missed you!" and she repeats it back. Today, she ran up to me, hugged me, and whispered in my ear, "Hi Mommy! I missed you!" It's the little things.
3, 9, 2 - As a two year old, AK is learning her numbers and how to count. Well, at least we know numbers, we just haven't quite figured out the order to say the numbers in. If she wants more than one of something she says, "Mommy, 3, 9, 2, pacis please." AKA, "Can I please have those 3 pacis?" We will get there!
A visit to Oakridge- Yesterday, David and I toured the ECC as parents; not as alumni or a faculty member, but as a future Oakridge parent. It was very surreal, exciting, and an absolutely amazing building. Mrs. Garton, my former pre-school teacher, led the tour. Memories of my time as a student at Oakridge came pouring back. I cannot wait for Avery to join us in this family tradition and to become an Oakridge Owl!

1st Day of School
AK headed off to school at Trinity for the first time! She was bright-eyed and bushy tailed.... until we told her Mommy and Daddy were not staying.

Daddy Gives the Best Pedicures
Anytime AK wants her nails painted, she will only let Daddy do it. Mommy doesn't do a good enough job, apparently.

San Fran Trip
To celebrate our 6th anniversary and my 30th birthday, Dave and I took a trip to San Francisco. We did everything! Seriously. A Napa visit (insert headache here), bike ride over the bridge, amazing dinners, shopping... you name it, we did it! Loved San Fran and can't wait to visit again one day.
Meanwhile, AK was loving life and loving being spoiled by her grandparents who took her to Munday to visit her cousins, Braylynn and Paige.
