Finest China Dining

What 9 month old doesn't enjoy their first taste of eggs and fresh fruit on their grandma's finest China? Grandma DiDi/Babes wouldn't have it any other way! Avery Kate wasn't too sure about the texture of the eggs... A few more tries and I'm sure she will love it!

Swing, Slide and a Few Selfies

72 degrees in February? Gotta love Texas weather! On the way home from school, Avery and I decided it was a perfect day to visit the park just a few blocks from our house.

First Valentine's Day

Avery Kate had a wonderful first Valentine's Day! She spent the morning with Mommy and Daddy, the afternoon with Mimi and Papaw and the evening at the Read household with her baby cousin, aunts, uncles and grandparents. She is a very loved little girl!

Valentine's Week

Sas, at 9 months? Yep. Valentine's Week and headed to the hospital to meet our newest BFF, Molly Kate.

Daddy Love

I never knew how much I loved your Daddy, until I saw how much he loved you. One of my favorite quotes that is hanging in Avery's room and these pictures truly capture that feeling. I hope they are always this in love with each other.

Sick Baby

RSV + double ear infection = snuggles
Avery Kate and I spent a couple days home from work snuggling to get back to health.

FWSSR

First time to the rodeo was a success! Avery Kate loved watching the animals and was a trooper considering it was smack in the middle of nap time.

Daddy Daughter Date

Daddy sent this to me with the caption, "Daddy Daughter Shopping Trip." I think we might have a Daddy's Girl on our hands. Just imagine when she can talk and tell him exactly what she wants. I'm. In. Trouble.

Zoo Trip

Claire is truly an amazing woman. She took these two rug-rats to visit the animals. Avery couldn't stop talking about her trip. ;)

Swinging with her BFF

These two don't do anything separate... Even swing. BFFs

Hello World

Someone learned two things today. How to stand-up in her crib and where the camera is located. It only took her pushing the camera to the floor, oh a hundred times, before Mommy and Daddy nailed it to the wall.

Wake-Up Daddy

Look again. Closely. And you will notice that Daddy has on an eye-mask. Yes, you saw that correctly.

Rodeo Time with Grandma Marj

Would you believe me if I told you she was 93? Ninety-three. She is the kindest, most generous woman I know. Her secret? Yoga, family and a little (or a lot, if you ask her) of wine.

Future Field Hockey Player

Taking after Mommy and going to be a Field Hockey player. Thanks to Coach Bird for the shirt!

Twins Make 6

Welcome to the world, Madison and Alexa! We are so excited for you to join our family. Mimi and Papaw now have 6 grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls.
