Pedicure from Daddy

Doesn't every little girl's Daddy give her a pedicure?! David couldn't stand how long her toenails were so he took matters into his own hands.

Someone is a BIG Daddy's Girl! Avery and I love to stroll around the neighborhood after work, before Daddy gets home from work. The cutest thing in the world is when David pulls into the neighborhood and I tell AK it's Daddy. She instantly gets jittery and says, "Dada Dada Dada," over and over until he comes to kiss her. Heart full.

Mimi bought AK a cute, Easter plate. It lasted a whole 2 minutes before she learned how to pick up the plate and chunk it. And no, she didn't eat the broccoli. Can't win 'em all!

Zoo and Museum Visit

Claire and her crew visited the zoo and the Fort Worth Museum this week. 

Snuggles with Daddy

Yesterday, Avery Kate tried to boycott naps. After she woke up from only a 20 minute nap, Daddy decided he would try his hand at rocking her like we use to in the first few months. Normally, she refuses to be rocked but I guess this day she needed a little extra love! 

Second Zoo Visit for Spring Break

Avery Kate, Ella Grace, Shelley and I had a blast at the zoo today! The weather was phenomenal! Now, with it brings Spring Break, there a few people there, and by few I mean a ton! But, we still managed to enjoy the animals and enjoyed the sunshine. 

A Trip to the Fort Worth Zoo

A visit to the Fort Worth Zoo during Spring Break?! Are we crazy or what?! In Mimi fashion, we arrived 15 minutes early so the lines were actually not bad yet. It was a little chilly in the morning but ended up being a great day! Price and Avery Kate especially loved feeding the birds and riding the carousel. 

Mommy Look A-Like

Everyone is always quick to say that Avery looks JUST like her Daddy, which she truly does. But, I found this baby picture of me in an old box from my mom's attic and I think the resemblance is quite clear! Look at those noses?! 

Like Sister Like Sister

When Zoey was a puppy, she clearly had a favorite hobby... ripping up toilet paper. It must be a family thing because Avery Kate LOVES ripping up paper or tissue paper. 

A Night with the Grandparents

While Daddy and Mommy went to the Oakridge Auction, Avery Kate was well-loved by Grandma Trish and Grandpa Bobby. She even got to play with (and be fed by) her cousins.
