Zoo day with Addison and the Read crew was fun, and hot! Avery Kate had her first taste of cotton candy with DiDi and of course, our sweet tooth baby girl loved it!

Mini Train was a blast with our friends Dalton, Molly Kate, and their Mommys. AK loved seeing everything but she mostly loved trying to jump off the train while it was moving. Mommy, not so much.

A Trip to the Vet

I somehow convinced myself that I could easily take the dogs, along with my very active 13 month old, to the vet. (Crazy? Maybe.) The only way to enter Petsmart with 3 wild children is with all 3 in a cart, of course. I must say, Avery Kate was exceptional! Mommy thought ahead and brought Sonic french fries to distract her. You gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes.

Father's Day

As we celebrate Father's Day, I truly realize how lucky I am to have this guy in our lives. He works hard every day and every day he comes home with the biggest smile on his face ready to play. My favorite part of the day is when I hear the garage door open and I yell, "Daddy's home!" All 3 girls (dogs too, of course) run to the garage door and Avery Kate yells, "Dada! Dada! Dada!" over and over until he comes inside. She puts her arms up, he swoops her up, and they both kiss each other. Sweetest thing to witness in the entire world! 

Bathroom Playground

Avery loves to play in the bathroom and open every. Single. Cabinet. And she loves to take every. Single. Thing. Out. Fun for her, not so much for me. But, I captured this precious moment before I snatched the clippers from her hands! Not the best toy for a 13 month old. 

Big Girl Bath Time

The water heater that heats AKs bathroom is out so she has been taking nightly baths in the big tub with Momma. I can't figure out who is having more fun, Momma or AK?!

First time to brush her teeth and she LOVED it! She wants to do it all the time! I'm certain it's because she wants her teeth to be clean and not because of the flavored, candy tasting toothpaste, right?!

Jamaica

At the end of May, the Read family, all 10 of us along with 20 some odd pieces of luggage, headed to Jamaica to attend a memorial service for Chu Chu. Although it was quite a sad time for our family, we felt honored to be there and celebrate his life. We were also happy to see family that we had not seen in years.
